Abstract

This case outlines difficulties in expanding into new and growing markets and, primarily, illustrates barriers to internationalisation faced by the New Zealand feijoa industry. Domestic markets for feijoas are commercially viable and growers are looking towards the international arena to expand their market and capitalise on potential revenues. However, many ambitious growers have had to endure numerous setbacks.
